Description
This Velux fixed curb mount skylight has triple panes and laminated glass. It's an energy-efficient way to bring daylight into the core of your home. This skylight will bring natural light into a piece and will decrease your energy consumption for your home heating or air conditioning. Installing a skylight is a good way to optimize both the brightness and beauty of a room.
- All Velux skylight glass are triple coated with LoE, dual sealed and injected with Argon gas.
- Laminated glass includes a 10-year warranty on glass breakage due to hail.
- Laminated glass with neat coating stays cleaner, reduces outside noise and thick inner pane for high snow load.
- Superior corner key design eliminates exposed fasteners for improved weather performance and aesthetics.
- No need for caulking and exterior fastening eliminates the need to enter the home during installation.
- The interior frame is pre-painted white to eliminate the need for a painter and neutral grey exterior colour blends with all roofing colours.
- 20-year warranty parts on seal failure and 10-year warranty on parts for defective skylight, roof windows and flashing.

Love our Velux skylights!
We love our new skylights and solar powered shades, and tax credit is a bonus. They look great and energy efficient allowing the daylight in is refreshing. Thank you for making an awesome product.

Recently had a roof replaced. Contractor replaced a deck mount Velux with a curb mounted version. Like skylight and the warranty.

OK but hard to clean after installation
Three new skylights were installed by a Velux preferred installer and generally happy with the installation and the product. The skylights arrived with adhesives or glues all over the glass and is proving to be harder to remove than just window cleaner. We're also told not to use anything like a razor blade to scrape the adhesive materials.
The skylights seems to be fine - as long as you don't look at them from certain angles so that you see the streaking or the adhesives. Knocking off one star for condition and difficulty cleaning them.

Awesom Product
Had a roof replacement and also replaced the existing Velux skylights (24 years) with the with the Velux fixed solar-powered skylight shades.
I lower the shades during the day when the sun is out and the room stays much cooler, saving AC costs.

Brighter and cleaner
