Rated 5 out of 5 by PatStG from Un ventilateur silencieux et facile à monter Notre ventilateur Utilitech tour fonctionne en continu à bas régime depuis une semaine, pour aider à répartir l'air climatisé dans une zone de la maison. Il fait le travail attendu. Il est très silencieux à ce régime. Il ne vibre pas sur le plancher de bois. La télécommande est appréciée, de même que la possibilité d'utiliser deux autres vitesses. À plus haut régime il est plus bruyant, mais moins qu'un ventilateur circulaire équivalent. Il offre aussi une minuterie que nous n'avons pas utilisée. L'Utilitech remplace un modèle concurrent qui s'arrêtait aléatoirement, était beaucoup plus dispendieux et moins facile à monter. En comparaison, le rapport qualité-prix de l'Utilitech est excellent. Nous sommes très satisfaits jusqu'à présent.

Rated 3 out of 5 by VinceW from Better last I'm buying this to replace a tower fan by Feature Comforts that I purchased at Lowes maybe 4 years ago. Considering I only used that one in the summer months on setting 1, the fan didn't last very long; the controls worked and it oscillated but it wouldn't give any breeze. It seems the problem wasn't with the fuse or even the bearings as I carefully oiled those (the back of the housing had to be ripped off even after removing the three screws so I could get to them). It appears it was designed to eventually short-circuit. I hope it's not the same company with a different name. I notice this fan also has a replaceable fuse built into the plug.
