Works awesome when plugged into welder outlet
I bought this unit and immediately removed the factory plug that was on it and changed the plug to a
Lincoln Welder end plug. Plugged it into the outlet
and turned it on full blast .... Great heater for the
garage and keeps the entire garage at 65-68
I would recommend this Heater to anyone who needs to keep a 20x40 garage with toilet and or water lines inside. Don't be fooled by all of these bad reviews, for the price .... this is definitely worth 5 stars or more. Buy this thing because you will not be sorry. Also, make sure you give it a full 24 hours to heat up the whole Garage. It takes a full 24 hours for this thing to heat the whole garage and then keep it heated. Also , don't set he thermostat so that it constantly goes on or off .... this unit really has only 2 speeds to work properly for you ..... either the thermostat dial is all the way to the right , or the machine is completely off ....!!! Works like a charm !!
It does not overheat and

Not happy at all
I bought this model from Rona in North Bay to heat my 20 x 24 garage. I just wanted to keep everything from freezing like paints, tools and assorted can goods. I usually like to keep the temperature at about 4 degree C but I have this one at it’s lowest setting and the temperature in my garage is plus 12; just way too high.
A waste of hydro.

Bought for garage
We use these type of heaters on our construction sites. The ones we use you can’t put your hand over the front due to the heat out put. Now I bought this one for my personal garage thinking it would produce the same heat output. I was wrong this produces almost no heat. I can put my hand over the front and can leave it there. I will be returning this tomorrow.

Really good heater
I bought this heater 2 years ago to heat my unfinished basement where my home office is now and kids TV. Walkout basement, 2 large windows, and door to back yard and it keeps my 20 X 44 area nice. I have it on the floor so to grab the cooler air by the floor. Remember height placement is critical. BTW it is -32C outside today.

Garbage
Bought 2 units, will be returning them. No where near as good as another brand at the same price at competition. Poor heat output.
