In fact, I moved all my favorite jewelry pieces to this box for easy access. I keep the Stowit Box on my dresser as it looks stylish and pretty. I love that it hold more than it looks like at first glance. I also like that fact that I can keep items on the very top without being disturbed when I slide it to open the other compartments. At first glace, it just looks like a trendy box but once you start sliding and pulling on it, you find hidden compartments that actually holds a great amount of jewlery.

It has different compartments for different pieces of jewelry. I store all my fine metal jewelry in this box to keep them safe and neat. I wish the ring compartment was bigger. This storage box is high quality and well made. Very happy with it.

The box came out of the box damaged: the metal was dented in two locations, the wood was chipped and the side panel was pulling away. The box just seemed cheap, which made the design that looked so clever in the photos, seem not as well thought out. This was my first Umbra purchase. I don't think I'll be purchasing from them again.

As usual, the design is impeccable. With all the hidden compartments and the tray top, you can fit a lot of jewelry in it. I hope they’ll make a box for long necklaces next!

Rated 4 out of 5 by Carly from A wonderful affordable jewelry box I wanted something simple, and with a wood/organic feel. This box does that. It is able to hold all of my jewelry, and I appreciate how it slides out. The lining is protective for jewelry. It is quite large & heavy, and takes up a lot of counter space, so if you don’t need all of that room to store jewelry, I’d consider getting the smaller stowit. One design quality that I don’t like, is that the metal on the side does not lie flat when the box is closed. There’s a small gap at the top, and then the metal comes down and in at an angle. I thought it was a manufacturing flaw until I looked at the stowit pictured on the packaging, and saw the same gap. If Umbra wanted to figure out a solution & create a Stowit 2.0, I think that’d be great...but I’m happy enough with what I paid for. If you have quality watches, I’d suggest a separate storing solution (to display them properly on their cushions facing up).
