[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Umbra Flip 8 Wall Mounted Hook is a wall-mounted space saver for hanging, towels, robes, jewelry, scarves, etc. The possibilities are endless for this flip 8 retractable hooks. It is well made and has the mounting screws and a paper tape measure for placing the screws. It is really easy to install and will save so much space with the 8 individual retractable hooks. When not in use the hooks disappear and are not seen. This wall mount can be hung anywhere as long as the wall is level and can be hung in a closet as well. I would highly recommend the Umbra Flip 8 Wall Mounted Hook for space saving!

Rated 4 out of 5 by Kaspar from Great spacing I bought it a couple of weeks ago, since I already had one 8-hook flip wall mounted hook, but of a smaller size. The one I already had was full all the time and I needed extra space for children's clothes as well. Since it looked nice and was practical, I decided to order one more, paying zero attention to the measurements. So this one arrived and it was literally twice the size! I do find it extremely practical as well as nice-looking. The spaces between the hooks allow easy access and unused hooks can be folded nicely. The only disadvantage I would point out is the slight decrease in overall quality (compared to my older hook, the edges of the hooks are not ideally cut etc).

It’s a modern look. But very functional. I hung it on the travel trailer wall as a coat and towel hook. When we’re loaded up or crowded, I can push the hooks back in and not worry that someone is going to catch a shirt or shoulder on the hook. I think it’s a great design. I’ll likely pick up another for our mud room at home. It came with mounting hardware - though we used something different to keep from going through the thin trailer walls. Mounting was easy. Use a level.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Parsnips from Perfect! We could never figure out what to put in our open hall closet, and after 4 years of a yucky old coat tree, finally ordered the nickel flip hooks. It's perfect! Modern and clean looking. In case it matters to someone, note that ends an the Nickel version are black as are the openings when the hooks are flipped down.

Rated 2 out of 5 by S4BB from Frustrating Quality Control After measuring the screw head slots on the back, one on the center line and one on the outside edge, I drilled the screw holes and then attempted to mount the hook. Did not fit on the screw heads, could not get it on all three. Pulled it down and then measured the screw head slots and found on edge was 300mm from the center, and the other is 304mm. I was forced to lower the wall hook and drill new holes again to account for the asymmetry. Disappointed that Umbra's poor quality control forced the extra work.

The entrance to my home is small so I liked the sleek design and that when not in use the hooks could go up. It was easy to install and does look great, however most of the hooks on it are very loose and fall down fairly easily (especially one). The one my friend has the hooks are more stiff and stay up a lot better which is one of the main features I liked.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Claire from Great design, many options We needed to expand our coat rack situation in our very small foyer after adding a kid to our household. After tons of searching, we landed on these. They're perfect for our traditional-meets-modern style, and we like that they're unobtrusive when folded up, for the warmer months. And they come in a range of widths! We got a big one for the adults and a small one for the kid. All in all a great product. And the paper ruler that comes with the mounting hardware is a touch of genius.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Alajack from I'm a product Bought 3 of the wall mounted hooks, as they looked nice. When we got them out of the box we realized that the way to mount is only with putting holes in the wall. The centres are not 16" apart so only into drywall. Seemed flimsy so we sent them back. Please design with 16" center holes so you can affix directly into your wall studs. They would be perfect then.
