Rated 1 out of 5 by Judy from Dispenser Breakage Problem Like so many others, I have had serial breakage problems with the Umbra liquid soap dispenser. It is a sleek, perfect design, and the dispensers look great in my kitchen and 2 bathrooms. Unfortunately, the bottom of the container develops hairline cracks after a period of time (4 to 6 months in my case) and then falls off. This strange problem has occurred only with my kitchen dispenser. I replaced the soap product as that was the only difference between this and the ones in the bathrooms; however, the replacement has now developed the telltale cracks after 5 months of use. Bradshaw's of Stratford, Ontario has replaced 3 of these dispensers and tell me that they have never had a similar complaint about them. I’m hoping that Umbra can offer some insight into the breakage of this product as I very much like the design and do not wish to switch to another.

Rated 1 out of 5 by disappointed! from Leaked - TWICE! I loved the look of this dishsoap dispenser, but within a few months it started leaking from somewhere on the bottom. I thought that it was just a fluke, so because I loved the look so much I went ahead & bought a second one. The same thing happened with the second one! Extremely disappointing. I definitely would not buy it again!

Rated 2 out of 5 by Iris from This will crack! I bought this soap pump about 1.5 years ago and noticed a few weeks ago that the bottom had several cracks. I noticed soap had been pooling around the soap pump on my bathroom sink but thought we were just being sloppy when dispensing soap. I took a closer look and it has 3 large cracks at the base! I have no idea how it happened, and now I'm frustrated I have to put something in landfill that I thought would last way longer. I've had single-use plastic soap pumps that have been used for much longer than this.
