As a matter of fact, this is the second one that I have purchased, and both are leaking. There must be hairline cracks in the base. In addition, the spouts discolour and turn green. So although I loved the look of this pump, I am quite disappointed in its longevity and the way it has been made.

It looks like it is glass, but it is sturdy acrylic. My kids have dropped it on the laminate floor, and it has not cracked. It is easy to refill and to clean. I do wish it dispensed a little more with each pump, but my kids are used to doing two pumps, and this prevents them from using too much soap when they do that. I am proud to display this in my home.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Anonymous from Beautiful, but... I've had this for years. It's beautiful and I loved it for awhile, but the chrome/metal finishing on the tip of the nozzle has faded. So now it is unfortunately not so beautiful. I'm in the market for something else, sadly.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Cate from Beautiful and well made - except for plastic top The design is beautiful and overall the product is well made. I have several of these and after some time - about six months to a year - the color on the end of the plastic spout wears off. I wish that the top came in metal or Umbra used another kind of paint for the plastic top. Their products have a great modern design.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Iris from This will crack! I bought this soap pump about 1.5 years ago and noticed a few weeks ago that the bottom had several cracks. I noticed soap had been pooling around the soap pump on my bathroom sink but thought we were just being sloppy when dispensing soap. I took a closer look and it has 3 large cracks at the base! I have no idea how it happened, and now I'm frustrated I have to put something in landfill that I thought would last way longer. I've had single-use plastic soap pumps that have been used for much longer than this.

It looked great and still works well but the 'metal' spout is disintegrating and you can see the plastic tube that is underneath the coating. I worry what sort of chemicals might be going into my dishwashing process from the decaying coating.

The soap pump is heavy duty and dispenses the perfect amount of soap/face wash. Refilling the soap pump is a breeze.

I love clear dispensers in their bathrooms so they know when it needs to be filled back up! I would definitely recommend this product!
