Description
Ultracolor Plus FA with DropEffect technology is an ultra premium, fast-setting, polymer-modified, color consistent, nonshrinking, efflorescence-free grout for joint widths from 1/8 in. to 1 in. (3 mm to 2.5 cm). DropEffect technology reduces surface absorption to help repel water, dirt and grime from penetrating grout joints. Ultracolor Plus FA is specially formulated with Mapei's high-hydrated cement technology (HCT) to eliminate the common problems related to Portland cement grout, such as color consistency and efflorescence.
- High stain resistance with no sealing required
- For joint widths from 1/16-in to 3/4-in
- Rapid setting ready for foot traffic in 3 to 4 hours
- Color consistent, non-shrinking, efflorescence-free grout
- For grouting interior/exterior, residential/commercial floors and wall surfaces in dry or wet conditions
- For grouting dimensional stone, slate, granite, stone agglomerates and most types of ceramic, ceramic mosaic, quarry, brick paver, porcelain, glass and clay tiles
- For application in submerged conditions (swimming pools, spas, water features and fountains) cured in approximately 3 to 4 days
- Don't forget your color matched MAPEI caulk

Worst grout ever
The grout is very bad specially if its too hot and it becomes dusty. I would not prefer this mixed sanded and unsanded grout to anyone

Great results, but not easy to mix
Regrouted my kitchen floor with this, and it has done a great job. My only difficulty with it is that it doesn't mix with water easily, so it took a lot of time to mix it in step by step. Once mixed, no problems. On the up side, I presume it means an opened bag will store for a long time, because it will not be keen to absorb moisture (hydrophobic?)

Versatile Grout
This grout covers all the bases-- my project had tiles of slightly varying dimensions-- gaps ranged from 1/8" to 1/4". I wanted the ease of application of an un-sanded grout and this product didn't disappoint. Caution in that this grout sets quickly- I only mixed up enough to cover about 5 sq ft at a time. The face of my tile didn't allow easy application with a float-- used a pliable putty knife. Overall I was pleased with the finished result...

White is actually beige
I bought this to grout my white tiles, and the colour is horrible. The white on the package does not match the finished product. So very disappointed, and now I have to figure out how to save my new bathroom.

Great grout, but not white
Be aware, this grout is more of a cream than a white. If you're doing high gloss white tile like I was, you will want to choose the avalanche colour. Avalanche is true white, while this white is more off white or cream
