Does Scotts 4306-sq ft Turf Builder 32-0-10 kill or prevent weeds?
The thicker the grass the less space for weeds, so good fertilizer helps grass growth snuffing out weeds

Am I able to use the Scotts fall fertilizer June 1st with temperatures 14c in the day and 3c at night here in NL? Last week I fertilized the lawn and today I topsoil and grass seed spots. Fall is all I have left right now.
We would recommend waiting until your new grass has been mowed at least 3- 4 times before adding a fertilizer that contains weed controls to the lawn. Scotts Wintercare Plus 2 Fall Lawn Fertilizer should be applied when your temperatures are between 15.5°C and 30°C. You can reach us here: http://tinyurl.com/kadgt3y

My half was greener
I share a front yard with my neighbor. I take care of the entire front yard. I applied Scott's Turf Builder Fall Fertizler but I was a bit short and not wanting to go buy another bag, I primarily did my side of the lawn and skimped on my neighbor's side. (I paid for the bag so .... ). A week later I could see quite clearly that my half was much greener than his half. It was a great accidental experiment as it showed me that this product actually does something. (one does wonder, do these things actually DO anything?). Seems it did. Now I apply it each autumn and I try .... to have enough for the neighbor's half too.

Confused by application rate
I bought this product, and applied it to my yard. The rate listed on the bag is 2 3/4 for the broadcast spreader. However the rate on the this website is the 3 and 3/4. I did my 4000 sqf yard, and found I had a lot left over, so I had to do more passes, and likely got an uneven application. Even if this product works great, the conflicting application rates are confusing, which is why I am giving it 3 stars.
Which setting is correct for this product?

The Worst Product That I Ever Used
I had a very green front yard till last summer (2020) and we were proud of that within our neighborhood. Then I used this product (Scotts Fall Lawn Food) according to the direction that I read from the package last fall. And this spring (2021) after melting the snow I faced with entire dead grass. Now I lost thousands of dollars that I spent on our beautiful grass and I even don't know what to do with it. So embarrassing.

This is a great product
We use this every fall in Ontario. For some wondering why no phosphorous any longer in fertilizer, I believe it's been over 10 years that Scotts in particular haven't added phosphorous to their fertilizers. The reason being soil tests typically show our soils in Ontario, Canada already have sufficient phosphorus, so adding more is unnecessary, money-wasting, and worst of all, a contributor to water pollution as excess phosphorus leaches into groundwater and into our streams, rivers and bays.
As for aeration, this has really helped our lawn - we did it for 2 years in a row and then every other year and then every 2 years until our lawn was noticeably better. This year (2022) was a particularly bad year for our lawn with drought conditions where we live and damage is still quite noticeable on our lawn. Will see what it looks like next Spring and then deal with it - will probably have to overseed some areas and water like crazy in the spring depending on the precipitation we get over the winter. So for now fall fertilizer is a start to hopefully deal with some of that damage but we'll wait and see next Spring.
