How many of the 1x4 panels can be put on one switch? Need at least 8 so any info would be appreciated Thanks

Hi, the recommended maximum is 12 fixtures per 15A circuit. With 8 fixtures the total wattage is only 320W but to be safe if you are using a dimmer, you should check the maximum wattage rating of the dimmer as well Thanks, TRENZ.

I need to replace lighting on a popcorn ceiling in an apartment hallway. Can these lights be surface mounted onto the popcorn ceiling without making any holes, without using a drop T bar ceiling? Do they come with hardware for surface mount?

Rated 2 out of 5 by Wildeyed from Disappointed Not really a standard DIY installation. I have installed led panels from another manufacturer before easily. I was very enthusiastic about this slick unit. But it is not suitable for me as a DIYer. Doesn't install in a standard junction box, assumes you've got romex pigtails and has no flush mounting hardware. Big box on the back needs to be countersunk into ceiling. Needs a pro.

Rated 1 out of 5 by electrical contractor from Not dimmable as advertised We have purchase 5 of these lights to be installed in an office space. We purchased these specifically as they are one of the only lights on the market that come in a 1x4 configuration and are able to be dimmed. We have followed the guidelines for the dimmers that are compatible with the fixture. Out of the 2 dimmers we tried, one rated for 6 units, one rated for 15 units, they both have issues with strobing when dimmed. Stay away if you're looking for dimming capability as these are not reliable.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Shorty_eh from Great Light Excellent garage light. If replacing old light make sure you have enough wire from the socket to reach the new light. Also make sure you you pre mark your hanger locations on a piece of cardboard as They are offset.
