One reviewer said his trees were so high he had to add an extension pole. Can you add an extension pole to this pole pruner/saw? Is it available from Fiskars?
Thank you for your inquiry. Unfortunately, we do not have an extension pole available for our tree pruners. If you need more than 12 feet than you should purchase a longer tree pruner.

How does the 15 inch saw blade attach to the pruner?

can't see the trigger from pic. where is it?

Excellent pruner !
Just spent my afternoon pruning my three trees including a LARGE maple. Excellent pruner !
The maple tree is so high i had to add a second telescopic handle to extend reach and despite this special setup, i could easily trim branches over 8m high.
Hint: completely reverse the jaws 180° so they point down. This way, you simply have to suspend the trimmer to the branch you cut. Much easier, especially with an extension or when you are at the maximum reach. The orange ball at the bottom allows you to cut even if you can't access the pump slider.

Absolutely fabulous!
I just spent the best $110.00 ever! This tree pruner is light weight, smooth, easy to use. Cuts branches like butter! It has a fantastic extendible handel that allows for cutting tall branches. Quality materials and has an extra saw blade head. I just spent 4 hours straight prunning my 4 trees today, because it was fun! I love this product!

Not happy
I am extremely disappointed since the rope frayed on the first try. Still waiting for Fiskars to send a new part....not really looking forward to fixing it.

Great Value.
I love this tool. I have so many trees to prune, and it is versatile and easy to handle. I had them all cleaned up in my first day after getting it. You do need to change the heads from sawing to lopping, though, so you need to make two passes through the trees.

Great tool!
No need to climb ladders. Can prune branches from the ground. Larger branches you will need more effort in adjusting and pulling the bottom of this tool over and over to eventually cut it. The unit itself is pretty long to maneuver around indoor.

Love it!
This is a great pruner for higher branches. It works really well for one inch and under branch thickness. It is easy to use. The cost of the pruner is what you would pay for one pruning visit if you hired someone so it is worth it.

Effective Cutter
Great cutter. The no pulling on the string makes it worth the money as you can do a two hand balance operation than and one hand hold and one hand pull. It is a but pricey but worth it in the long run.
