After hauling the cabinet a couple hundred miles from the city and unloading and unpacking it by myself, I went to put on the last castor and found the bolt holes in that spot were out of alignment. I have already emailed the address that Craftsman has provided to negative reviewers on this page. The reply was to take it back to Lowe’s. I’m not quite sure why Craftsman is reaching out to people on here if they aren’t able to do anything for them. I understand returning it is likely the simplest solution, but in my case it is a huge inconvenience and there was was no recognition of that fact by Craftsman. What is really annoying is you can readily see it is messed up. The most basic quality control would have prevented this from happening.

Rated 1 out of 5 by MDev from Hunk of Junk I ordered this as a gift for my husband online. They sent me what appears to me a floor model. It’s scratched, dented, and has a hole ripped in the top mat. There’s an inch of dust all over the bottom. I wouldn’t have paid half price for this. The delivery people were going to leave it on the side of my house. Thank goodness my dog heard them and started barking. No call or doorbell ring. The whole experience extremely disappointing. I’ll be returning the entire purchase. So disappointed.

Rated 3 out of 5 by JoeSmoe from My First Toolbox I was excited to get my first large tool cabinet in the door of my work and set it up to store more of my tools, unfortunately I have come across a problem that others have had while looking through the reviews. The caster holes that are punched into the bottom of the box are poorly lined up and not square with one another making it impossible to mount the wheels out of the box. Quality control could have noticed this mistake and have had it remedied before sending it out to be purchased.

The "awesome" soft close drawer mechanisms get jammed 50% of the time and won't fully close, the drawers and box feel very flimsy, and there were no liners for the drawers. It looks okay, but other than that hu$ky makes a MUCH better box for about the same amount of $, and those are 24" deep compared to Craftsmans 18". Not happy.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Chappy from Caster Assy Had same problem as others have commented about caster holes not lining up. Had to take caster plates (on one caster assy only) on inside of cabinet out that were assembled wrong from the factory and reposition them in the right configuration. Also, out of the box it had a small dent on back side of cabinet which was no big deal since it was on the back side which will be up against a wall. Other than caster problem, seems to be a nice cabinet. Was thinking about buying a second one !!!

I researched all the manufactures available on the Web, and visited local home improvement stores that represent manufactures such as. “Kobalt”, “Husky”, “Milwaukee”, Masterforce, etc. I was looking and comparing build quality, features, storage capacity, drawers, fit and finish, value, etc. After a full week of comparison research in store and on line reading reviews, I then took a close look at the Craftsman 52” 10 drawer Rolling Cabinet. The price point along with the features I was looking for, checked all the boxes that rendered my decision to purchase it. This is a quality professional grade tool cabinet, which has all of the features and build quality of much higher priced cabinets at a cost effective and reasonable price point. Now that I have transferred and organized all of my tools, I can now effectively and conveniently retrieve the tools I need without the inconvenience and frustration that you encounter with smaller tool boxes. I was so impressed with this new addition to my garage and work bench that I purchased the companion 52” Wide 8 Drawer Tool chest to complete the set!
