Easy to mount using template, just be careful that it gets mounted such that the posts have the mounting nuts on the bottom and that the cross arm is in the up position. Recommend using horizontal holes on mounting plate as it allows some adjustment. Also ensure that there is nothing above the holder that interferes with loading the toilet paper. Note that the horizontal bar and the end posts have different finishes - subtle but noticeable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by hanbow from Great Product I’m so happy with product. High quality and feels solid. Installation is easy it took me 30mins as a novice. I used the template provided. The finish is awesome and has a great look. As in the photo on the box it is clearly stated that it opens/pivots upwards only. I recommend the product.

Rated 1 out of 5 by rfo1 from Don't Waste Your Money This holder is garbage. One side pivots upwards to accept a new roll of toilet paper. However if this unit is mounted on a cabinet there is not enough clearance to install a roll of paper. I am taking it back for a refund.
