Rated 3 out of 5 by oxymoron318 from ok after you fix it I found the backing plate over the batteries isn't tight enough to contact the batteries, it worked if you squeeze the plate tight. It has little clip feet on one side and a screw un the door to open it. I had to shimmy the cover with tin foil and it works fine. The on and off slider doesn't click into place so you really have to slide it all the way over

Rated 4 out of 5 by jrg from Usable, but instructions suck The one I bought today works fine, but installing the batteries is tricky and not covered on the card in the package. You need to know that the + (positive) terminal of coin batteries, like the included pair of CR2032, is the shell that wraps around the sides. The smaller disk on top is the - (negative) terminal. After the batteries are in place, the cover needs to be put in place and held down securely with one thumb while you insert and tighten the locking screw with the other hand. Be sure to gently start the screw into the original threads. Otherwise the screw will try to cut new threads in the plastic and will gouge out the hole, making it impossible to tighten the screw. The slide switch on mine locks securely in both the ON and OFF positions. Deducted one star for incomplete instructions.

Rated 1 out of 5 by JoeR from Not worth the trip to store Got mirror home, tried to place batteries in, they would not stay in place when trying to close lid, once finally managed to get them in place, the lid stuck up and no longer sat flush, and light did not work, tried new batteries same thing, light did not work. Will be returning tomorrow.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Cowboy4AP from Nice Idea, but... The extension is too short. It is only useful for places you may not be able to get a hand into. But nothing more than a foot or so. Also, the LED lights interfere with your own vision as much as they may illuminate the space you are trying to see. I had to shine a flashlight through the mirror to effectively inspect, rather than using the LEDs. I bought this to avoid having to use two hands.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Barbara from False Advertising Packaging states mirror is 2" by 3", that is the mirror plus housing. The actual size of the mirror is 1-1/2" x 2-1/2". Website states it extends to 26-1/5 inches. Packaging states the extends to 22-3/4 inches. One would assume that is how far the stem extends, but it is not. They are measuring from the tip of the extended mirror head to the end of the handle. Returning.

Rated 5 out of 5 by MarkM from I can see! Bought this light to see the back and underside of brazed joints in copper pipe. The built in light makes it very easy to identify missed areas of the braze without having to use a separate flashlight. Worth the money.
