Description
Soundproof your floors with this Technofloor acoustic membrane underlay for flooring. This rubber underlayment is a suitable option for wood or concrete floors. For an easy installation, simply align the seams and secure them with tapes. Cut this underlay to size using a standard utility knife. Made of rubber, the underlay features a dense vapour barrier, which ensures added moisture protection. This Technofloor acoustic underlay with thermal insulation is mildew and mould resistant, which ensures good indoor air quality. Its 2/25-inch thickness provides thermal insulation and sound dampening benefits. Use the underlayment to help maintain support and reduce any subfloor imperfections. Manufactured from recycled fibres, this underlayment is environmentally friendly. This acoustic underlay membrane with a coverage area of 100 sq. ft. is 25 ft L x 4 ft W.

Can you lay ceramic tiles on top of this? If so, what adhesive do you suggest to glue the underlayment to the concrete or plywood floor before laying ceramics on top?

Great at reducing the sound of footsteps
We installed technoflex underlay as part of our kitchen renovation 3 months ago. The underlay works well to reduce the sound of footsteps, both in the kitchen and in the basement apartment below. The manufacturer provided helpful advice on how to install. Great product, we will use it again in future renovations.

Bonne diminution du bruit
J’ai acheté cette membrane acoustique pour diminuer le bruit qu’on entend dans le loyer du sous-sol qui se trouve sous le plancher dont on a refait. Satisfaite.

Doesn't block noise from outside.
I bought this because of raven online reviews. I putted it on the floor, didn't have any difference at all to prevent sound from garage underneath my unit. It does absorb noise from inside your unit so your room has no echo. But it doesn't prevent any noise from outside coming in at all.

Confortable, conserve la chaleur et très facile d'
Très facile à installer et découper grâce au quadrillé conçu à même celui-ci qui guide les découpes. Très confortable, ajoute un confort additionnel au plancher flottant et garde la chaleur également. Auparavant j'utilisais un tapis de mousse très mince et désormais je vais plutôt utiliser ce produit. Je le recommande fortement.
