Rated 5 out of 5 by Mike from Best basic This set is probably one of the most basic set you can get with no frills to it. It was exactly what I wanted. I didn't want fancy handles that unscrew all the time. In this set, the tools are each one solid piece. I also like the large round eye at the top of each tool, allowing you to hang them anywhere. The stand they come on certainly isn't heavy duty but serves it purpose well. Asthetically, I have no complaints. It looks great next to our livingroom wood stove.

Rated 5 out of 5 by STL-is-gr8 from Essential for any fireplace! I bought this set because there wasn't a 4 piece set with tongs available which I would've liked to have. Just a personal preference but, I wish the poker actually had the additional poker at the end like some more expensive ones do instead of just the L shaped hook. It was super easy to assemble and probably took me longer to open and unwrap the items than it did to assemble the stand.

Rated 1 out of 5 by DesertWalker from Cheaply Made When you open the box, you see that it requires some assembly which is no problem - a couple of screws and the unit is up and ready. The problem is that it isn't even and its very wobbly. In addition, the unit is short and doesn't allow for other fireplace tools to hang on it. And since it is cheaply made, even if you found short tools, if they are made of quality materials, they are too heavy and will tip the holder over. I plan to return this and suggest you not buy it to begin with.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Salty from Good value! It is a very basic fireplace kit, but I have gotten a good bit of use out of it. I can do everything I need to do with it like re position embers or push ashes into the ash pit we have under the fireplace. It also takes up very little space.
