Description

This hanging parasol is made of water and UV resistant olefin fabric. It has a 360 degree swivel mechanism with a convenient foot pedal to adjust the canopy horizontally. In addition, it's easy to open and close thanks to the smooth operation of the crank.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Truthom from Don't buy Not the easiest to use. Moving it up and down takes a lot of force. The Umbrella doesn't actually lock in place because it's not attached to the pole. So any bit of wind will move it and you cannot stabilize it in one spot. Umbrella didn't come with ties to wrap around the pole when it's not in use. It easily catches any sort of wind. The base is also weak, we purchased over 200 pounds of weights and had extra sand bags on top. One night it stormed, 20km winds and it fell over on to my neighbors fence! Luckily no injuries or damages to property. But there could have been! Returned. Don't buy!!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by fjal from nice umbrella I bought this after our tree fell from the storm and we lost our element of shade in our backyard. It was a bit difficult to figure out the mechanism and how it works so it is not top heavy. Finally figured it out. It provides great shade and is a welcome addition. Always wanted a shade umbrella. Not a bad price either, when on sale. The base should be heavier to prevent toppling in the wind gusts, but those are rare, and I just lay it on the side to prevent damage.
