Description

Add moisture to a room with this fireplace cast iron kettle from Style Selections. It is completely water tight and will provide a stream of heat into the air when it reaches a boiling point. Although not usable for drinking, the kettle will provide a good source of moisture replenishment in your home if used regularly. The kettle has a classic shape and features a silver spiral handle that allows you to move it safely when it is hot. It can be used on a stove top range too. Use the kettle to humidify the room only. Do not drink the water boiled by the kettle.

It has to be heated up well to throw steam but don't expect any kiracles, it's a slow go. After five days of use we already have rust. Item was oiled and prepped according to instructions.

There were no directions for how to prevent it from rusting, no treatments that should be done inside. And now that it's rusted, no way to fix it. How frustrating.
