I just installed a new Orleans 2000 heater. Can you explain the difference between econo mode and comfort mode. When should I use one or the other?
Your heating needs may vary according to the season and even the time of day. To meet your needs, this thermostat is equipped with two distinct modes: ECO and COMFORT. ECO mode saves you money by providing a more energy-efficient setpoint temperature when you’re sleeping or away from home. For example, before going to sleep you can put the thermostat in ECO mode and your set point will be 17 degrees. Using the timer you can decide how many hours you would like ECO mode to last. After the timer runs out the unit will go back to comfort mode or regular mode with your standard set point.

Durabilité?
J'étais très contente la première année. Sauf que l'éclairage du menu s'est rapidement détérioré. Après seulement 3 ans je ne peux plus le programmer parce que le menu DELL est illisible. Le mode de programmation est aussi compliqué. Au moins mes plinthes électriques je pouvais les ajuster. Très déçue.

easy installation and lives up to its features
Just installed one week ago but already impressed. It was more expensive then some but so far I feel it was worth it. Quiet, throws a lot of heat but temperature in room doesn't fluctuate like most heaters. Nice appearance and was able to pick the right size and shape for the room.
