Description
This Stelpro portable heater is equipped with a high-performance nickel-chrome alloy element that provides instant heat at startup. This device is perfect for a construction site that doesn't have a nearby heating source. The 20-gauge steel housing protects the heater from impacts, while the handle makes transportation easy and features a special cable storage design. The 6 ft. 12 AWG cable includes a 250 V/30 A three-prong plug with grounding system. Finally, the motor is entirely enclosed and lubricated, not to mention that it features thermal protection with automatic reset. Backed by a 3-year limited warranty.

Chaufferette acheté en novembre 2023, cependant ce que j'ai reçu ne ressemble pas à la photo que vous avez dans votre site internet.
Tout le boitier est jaune , pas de section noir sur la partie supérieur ni poignée jaune.

Faulty thermostat
Thermostat is faulty. The heater puts out lots of heat but after the desired room temperature is reached, turning down the control knob slightly shuts the unit off (as instructed in the manual) but it does not come back on when the room temperature drops down. It's kind of useless as it must be run on continuous for it to heat and does not shut off otherwise. I have an older unit from stelpro that is essentially the same design rating and it works fine.

Bad thermostat
This heater works great except for the thermostat control. It seems impossible to set it to a consistent temperature. It seems to run continuously and then when the desired is achieved, after turning it down slightly to turn it off, it does not come back on when the room temperature drops down significantly. I have followed the instructions from the owners manual.l on how to use it. I have an older model from the same manufacturer and it works fine. This one is kind of useless.

Great heater for our screened in porch.
We were looking for a solution to heat our screened in porch for fall and winter. Size 14’x16’ with insulated roof. I replaced the screens with 20 gauge plastic for durability. At -10 outside we can heat the room within minutes to a Comfortable room temperature. We love having the extra room to relax. It’s like adding an extension to the house with minimal investment. Looking forward to sitting on my heated porch during our first snowstorm. It’s quickly becoming our fav room to relax in.

Rapport efficacité et chauffage
Je m'attendais à sentir la chaleur à l'avant de l'appareille et la grille se maintient tiède à l'avant. On dirait que le ventilateur ne fait que refroidir l'élément chauffant. Achat effectué y a une semaine. 4800w pour le rendement, ça fait cher le kwh.
