Description

This Starfrit frying pan is part of the The Rock collection, a line of non-stick cookware with a special surface treatment. Its surface enhancement process uses small metal pellets and impact technology to modify the surface and form an ultra-durable rock-like finish. The result is an outstanding release performance, 3 times better than traditional non-stick cookware. This fry pan has an extra thick forged aluminum base with a Bakelite handle, oven safe up to 350 F. It's the perfect companion in the morning, at lunch or to prepare dinner.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Silverbear from Dangerous! Cooks great, but the rivet cover on the frying pan side just exploded and shot across my stove like a flaming hot bullet. Sounded like a gunshot going off and my ears are still ringing. Cooked great up until now. Cooking may require safety glasses and a bullet proof vest in the future.
