Amazing longevity
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I actually bought my prybar almost 20 years ago taking a group of teenagers on a construction mission trip. Having been on many of those trips as a youth pastor, my trusty prybar went on ALL of them, and got used and used and used. Then after getting married and owning a home, it has helped us put down a new floor after flooding, and build a new deck when the old went belly-up. It has some dings, scratches, and alot of character, but I am convinced it will last long enough for me to pass on to a grandchild one day! (If my sons ever convince someone to marry them!) Thanks for a great product with many memories!!

Simple tool with many uses
I have owned several of these 12 inch pry bars for a good many years and find I can hardly get along with out one. They are great for using on old shingle work. If you have two, they are great at getting up shoe molding without leaving marks on your work. I have made the straight end of mine a little thinner which improves its use in small cracks. I have lost the one I kept in my work truck and have a cheaper imitation and do not like it nearly as well as the Stanley. My local store does not have any in stock as of this report. I will get a new one as soon as I can. They are simply indispensable.

Works for specific circumstances
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I can't say that this does everything, because I still find that the end of my hammer can do a better job in some circumstances. For weaker nails, the head of the nail can sometimes fold because of the short slot and the angle of leverage from this. However, this pry bar has worked for many other prying tasks and for some of the stronger nails with no issues. The ends are definitely sharp enough and has worked well enough as a chisel to dig out nails embedded deep into the wood.

Never gives up
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using STANLEY tools for almost 50 years, and they have never let me down. I have this pry bar and I have used it for removing tile, taking out nails, and I have even used it on a block to "pry a side by side refridgerator/freezer" up to get some sliders underneath it. Like I said...STANLEY tools never give up! What a superior manufactured product. Thanks for making my life easier all these years.

Required for all major remodeling!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've done some major remodeling on our house over the last 2 years and this has been the most useful tool! We've ripped up floors with it, taken off trim, deconstructed a deck, and so much more! Works great with a hammer on the curved end to wedge it into tight spots to get better leverage. Very versatile!

Indispensable
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] One of the most used in my tool chest. I use it for not only the obvious use of pulling nails very easily, but as a jack lift for wall sheet rock, mini-crowbar, and any task requiring leverage. This is a quality product and beats out my previous pry bar (brand name unknown) by a country mile.

Best bar ... ever!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This tool was invaluable to pull out tack strips, when I was taking out old carpet. A claw hammer can not get under the tack strip because the walls are right there. I call mine, Rocky, because it is a winner!

Perfect size. Very Handy
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased this bar not too long ago and have been loving it ever since. It’s small enough to get at hard to reach areas while still being long enough to have plenty of leverage. Great classic tool overall.
