Spyder Saw Scrapers
The idea behind these products is genius. They saved me a ton of time and energy when trying to remove linoleum flooring. The paperbacking and adhesive on the ground came up rather quickly once i figured out a good method. I found the 2 inch scraper worked best and to use long straight lines pushing away from me. The only draw back is that blade tends to bend and eventually break at the point where it connects to the reciprocating saw. I had to go back to Lowes and by 3 additional 2 inch scrapers to finish my job but it was worth the hours of scraping it would have taken me a regular razor blade.

Gets the job done
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this pack to use for pulling up 3 layers of linoleum in a kitchen & dining room remodel. The oldest layer being from 1977, and 2 more layers glued right on top of eachother sometime in the following 40+ years after that. It was NOT an easy job! after heating the floor a little first, these spyder scraper blades were strong enough to get the job done, and get it done well! It was great having the different sizes to get to all the nooks and crannies. They took a beating and held up to the challenge.

Scraper blades
Gets the mastic up but you have to be very careful not to let the angle get over about 25 degrees or the blade will jam down and break at the screw that attached the blade to the sawzall.
I bought two packs (6blades) to finish my project and broke all 6 blades

Not for removing tile adhesive
I bought these to scrape tile adhesive from subfloor and had several problems. Worst, one of the blades snapped off inside my recip saw after about ten minutes use. Prior to that another blade got bent. Also several times I exceeded the angle of the bevel slightly which causes the saw to kick back hard. Even when taking care not to this was difficult to avoid entirely.
This was all to remove 40 sf. About a quarter was taken up. Scraping didnt remove many places. Going to do the rest manually.
Nice product idea though. Maybe would work better on lighter applications.

Made the job a lot easier!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I needed to remove the backing of an outdoor balcony carpet (100 sq ft) that was adhered to the concrete. After much exertion with a manual floor scraper, I tried the Spyder Scrapers. I started with the 4" and took the advice of other reviewers regarding the angle, and the blade heating up causing breakage. Definitely start at about 25 degree angle to prevent kickback, let the blade do the work and just guide the reciprocating saw, and stop frequently to allow the blade to cool. I stopped about every 10 sq ft and cleaned up the debris, then resumed. I found the 4" scraper was the easiest to work with since I experienced more kickback from the 6". (I did not try the 2" scraper) The blades did not break and can be used again.
I would recommend these scrapers for soft material removal.

Unable to hold up under pressure.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These scraper blades heat up very quickly and the end snaps in the saw making removal difficult and the blade useless. These may be fine on a very easy project that requires very little pressure, but not for any job requiring substantial pressure or strength. Also, be sure to wear safety equipment as this attachment makes the saw kick back wildly. I would NOT recommend these attachments. All 3 broke within minutes of use.

Spyder Scrapers
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Used these guys to help scrape an old linoleum floor from concrete. Worked pretty good. Have to get the 'feel' so you do not gouge the concrete underneath

Gets the job done pretty fast
These scrapers are good for old paint and even old carpet glue. To be effective on the glue they had to be sharpened. Do not put a lot of pressure as they can break just like a saw blade can. Adjust the pressure AND the angle until you get the best results.
