Description
Spyder's Tungsten Carbide-Tipped (TCT) hole saws cut more materials up to 5x faster and make up to 10x more cuts lasting longer than conventional bi-metal hole saws. TCT hole saws drill through wood, MDF, fibre cement board, porous concrete blocks, ceramic wall tiles, plastic/PVS and more. Use with Spyder's Rapid Core Eject arbour system to remove cores without prying (drill holes, press buttons, pull back the hole saw, and eject the core), cut at an angle, and enlarge existing holes using two adapters on one pilot bit. All TCT, Tarantula, and Bi-Metal hole saws fit on Spyder Rapid Core Eject arbours and pilot bits (sold separately), and on universal hole saw arbours. Spyder's TCT hole saw is the pro's choice for innovation, high performance, speed, and versatility drill more holes in more materials in less time. Not for use in hammer mode, or for drilling metal, wood with nails, harder, abrasive materials, or block/brick/tile applications with a Mohs hardness of 6 or greater. Always use a drill with a support handle.

Le commis du Rona St-Jérôme ma recommander cette emporte pieces pour percer dans la brique.
Après seulement quelques secondes et a peine 1/4 de pouce de percer les dents étaient déja disparues.

Does the job and lasts enough
Purchased to drill 6 1/4 LED spots in old 3/4 ceiling , drilled 18 holes, no sign of wear on these carbide tips. When not used there are good chances to see some rust, so ,I applied some W40 at least.
