can these tiles be installed over paneling if the lines on the paneling are filled in first
Hello,Smart Tiles will adhere well to any smooth, untextured surface. If the paneling has gaps between them, it is possible that this would affect the adhesion, especially if they are large. They could also show an indent through certain large, white models such as the Oslo White.
If the paneling has only slight gaps, we would suggest testing one tile to ensure the outcome.
If the paneling is wood, you would need to seal the porous surface with a primer or paint. If you prime you will need to wait 72 hours before installing the tiles and for paint the wait time is 21 days.

Hi, can I stick Smart Tiles Milano on my existing backsplash kitchen ceramic?
Hello, Thank you for your interest in Smart Tiles. The can be installed on existing tiles as long as the existing surface is smooth and without texture. You must also take into account the existing grout lines. If they are very deep, it may be noticeable through the tile as they are flexible. We suggest trying one tile before to be sure of the effect. Be sure to clean the surface with a degreaser product such as TSP before installing Smart Tiles.

Perfect Backsplash
Great product. I used them for a backsplash which really brightened up my kitchen. The tiles were easy to install with a little practice. I like that they were easy to reposition - the grout lines matched up perfectly. I also like that the tiles are easy to clean and require no maintenance.

Stunning color!
Beautiful color. The sample was very helpful in determining that the color would be too dark for our backsplash. The gloss of the “tiles” is perfect and I love that the grout lines are not glossy. Looks to be a very high quality product.

Wow these look great! A very affordable alternative to real tile and can’t tell the difference.
Really Look Excellent. Very happy. Waaaay cheaper than having real tile installed and cannot tell the difference. Easy to install, just take your tile and do it slowly. It took me about 4 hours for my 8 square feet. Have the right tools and don’t rush. Definitely recommend ordering extra for mistakes, you will make some.
