Description
This Sioux Chief coupling is commonly used in gasoline, grease, oil, water, vacuum and air line applications. It is made of brass for strength, durability and rust resistance. This coupling fitting has a 1/2 in female end and a 1/2 in female end. It's ideal for use with copper, brass, aluminum or plastic tubing. Not recommended for use with steel tubes.
- Working Pressure: 1,000psi on all barstock fittings at the temperature range -65°F to 250°F
- Installation instructions: Place Teflon® tape on the male pipe threads and screw the thread into the female fitting until threads stop and the connection becomes tight. Do not over tighten.
- Commonly used on oil, natural gas, water, and air lines.
- Recommended for use with brass, copper, or iron pipe.
