SIMPSON STRONG-TIE
Description
Secure a wood column to concrete with the help of a Simpson Strong-Tie adjustable post base. This brace stabilizes the post of a top-supported feature like a patio cover. A 1 in standoff elevates the wood to protect against rot. The ZMAX galvanized post base measures 5 in L x 6 in W x 7 1/4 in H.
- Install with the Outdoor Accents hex-head washer (STN22) and structural wood screw (SDWS22312DBB), sold separately
- Outdoor Accents side plates available (see APBDSP)
- ZMAX galvanization with a black powder coat offers extra corrosion resistance for exterior and treated-wood applications
- Made from 12-gauge steel
- Designed to meet stringent building codes for seismic or high-wind events
- Slotted for adjustability
