Is the pressure (PSI) adjustable on this unit? Apart from using different spray attachment nozzles? Thanks?
Yes , there is a pressure adjustment valve on the pump. The pressure is set at the factory to 3700 psi max ,but it can be reduced by turning the value counter clockwise.

Good washer once it starts
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used this pressure 4 times this year and it has been the hardest engine to start on any piece of equipment I have owned in the past 40 years. Once it is started it usually runs great, today it took several minutes before the engine started running properly, running smooth and yes I use fuel stabilizer in my gasoline supply. The gasoline is not old. It does a great job, just wish it started as easy as my Honda lawnmower! Has actually taken 20-30 pulls and playing with the choke and throttle position to get it to start. Have to hold the wand trigger open so it does not bog down as well.

Follow up to my original review.
Stay clear of this machine. I have now used this unit 5 times and the pump has failed for the second time. As a factory trained ex Simpson dealer I have to say I am disappointed that Simpson would put their name on junk but then this isn't the original Simpson ownership just another example of using a well received name to market junk. The machine starts right up each time but the pump is horrible. I cannot even get hose water to come through it this time. I have rebuilt hundreds of high pressure pumps over the years and I have seen plenty with no pressure building but never seen one that water wouldn't come out the other end even when the seals were shot which is what happened the first time.

Very powerful for the size and price. Great!
I bought this for most home projects such as a very long vinal fence, siding, brick, and granite. Excellent Honda GX200 Engine. Ran it hard several times now it worked wonderfully. Starts right every time first pull. Keep an eye on the oil and I only use TruFuel (or any brand you choose) ethanol-free 4-cycle gas. I also bought the 36" wand. Make a huge difference with the extra reach. The only thing I wish was the carry handle on the unit went up a little higher. But otherwise, it's a compact powerhouse of a pressure washer for the price. A pleasure to use. Very happy for the past few months now. I think any homeowner would be extremely pleased. It is commercial grade but probably more of a high-end homeowner pressure washer than everyday professional use. But plenty strong enough to get whatever you need to get done. I highly recommend it.

So far so good
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a good power washer,my favorite part about it is you can adjust the pressure with the built in pressure regulator.not to loud plenty of power.a little pricey but for the quality it’s worth it.also I like the detergent hose you just drop in a gallon of solution...you put the write nozzle on and pull the trigger.

Awesome Pressure washer !!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Got the Simpson 3700 Power Shot, to use for home use. It started on the First pull, an ran great, has plenty of power. I got the Simpson brand because my son got the Simpson 3300 psi with Kohler motor, very happy with the performance of the Simpson 3700 Power shot an the 50 foot hose. This is a quality unit with a Honda motor with 5 year warranty !!

The output is a lot less in 3700 PSI
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Simpson Kohler engine 3400 psi is much stronger then the Honda 3700 psi. They both are 2.5 gpm and 196cc. The Honda 3700 engine only puts out 5 horsepower and 9.1 torque compared to the Kohler engine puts out 6.5 horsepower and 10.25 torque. I compared the two and I don't think the 3700 have enough power to push the pump to get the proper PSI. I welcome any comment if anyone else have compared the two.
