Description

SikaBond Construction Adhesive is five times stronger than any other construction glue. It's a one-component adhesive and sealing compound that offers permanent elasticity. It allows for contraction and expansion that come with seasonal changes and humidity, so it won't ever crack. This multipurpose product has a special moisture-cured polyurethane base, and an accelerated curing time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by OldMountaineer from Best Adhesive Exceedingly strong. Sticks to everything. Waterproof. I used it to fill a 15”x20” hole in an exterior door with 2 thicknesses of 3/4” exterior plywood. Set up quick. Very neat.

Silicone can be a very good adhesive, and if you are looking for a wet area adhesive, this product is a good choice. Just be aware that it dries into a pliable material and not a a rigid glue as does standard construction adhesive.

I used it on the veranda fire pit I built. I will use this from now on to re-glue areas of my retaining wall caps that have lost their adhesion.
