Description
Sika Post Fix is a fast-setting two-part, pre-proportioned polyurethane resin that produces an expanding foam when mixed. It is specially formulated and packaged to deliver a lightweight, mix-in-the-bag, fast-setting and high-strength backfill for in-ground supports made of wood, steel and PVC. Sika Post Fix is based on Sika's proven foam technology and designed for easy, convenient and quick support of many post types. Ideal for fence and gate posts, signage posts, and mailbox posts.

How many posts will it do?

Excellente stabilité
J'ai installer 4 poteaux de 6x6 et 2 poteaux de 4x4 avec a 4 pieds de profondeur. Mon sol est composé a 95% de sable. Le tout soutien ma gallerie de 16' x 18' et n'as pas bouger depuis 4 ans. 2 sacs par trou pour les 6x6 et 1 par trou pour les 4x4. J'ai utilisé différents produits au fils des années comme supports de fixations tel que des deck blocs, de la poussières de roches et du ciments mais rien n'est plus facile tout en demeurant solide comme que ce produit. Je projete ajouter un toit permanent en ajoutant 2 autres poteaux de 6x6 et j'utiliserais encore le Post Fix.

Not the best
I used different foam on 6 posts last year and they all turned out great. So I decided to go the expanding foam route again for 2 posts when I was putting in a gate. This was the brand available this time. I mixed for 30 seconds like instructed and dumped it in. Looked good at first but the next day when I checked on it the foam had pulled away from the walls of the hole. It’s firmly attached to the post itself but I’m able to remove the post with foam from the hole due to an inch gap all the way around the outside. I like expanding foam for its quick setting time and minimal mess but this brand is No Good.

Fonctionne tres mal
Produit cher, il est ecrit que ca vaut 2 sac de beton, ce qui n est pas vrai. Ca tient mal le poteau. J ai eté obligé de mettre du beton dessus pour renforcer.

Foam
When I watched the tv commercial for this product it came across like cement. Well it sets firm like cement but is just spray foam. It does the job but you can’t control the amount you can use. So each post is a full $18.00 bag.
