Description
SICO Pure paint with a velvet/eggshell finish is ideal for walls in any room of the house. Self-priming and easy to apply, it dries quickly with low odour. Washable and durable finish with high viscosity and great covering power. Water-based product that makes it easy to clean tools with soap and water. No VOCs before adding colorant. White colour can be tinted if necessary. 3.78 L container.

Not happy.
Like some others say, after three coats, I can still see the original faded white colour behind this new paint. It does seem thin and watery. I'm doing a renovation and have to have this new home finished within a month, or else I'll have no home to live in. I'm wasting so much time applying more coats than normal, especially with a brush. 4 passes along the trim with a brush, and I can still through it! The paint also gels up if left thick in a spot after only a minute or two. When you come back with a brush to spread it out, it removes all paint around it, off of the wall completely! Everything within a 5 inch radius peels off like it's a balloon skin. It's very frustrating.

Great paint
I am impressed with the covering capability of this paint. I tinted to a light brown and covered a maroon paint. There was also some plaster touch ups that I was covering as this is self priming. After the first coat I had a very decent coverage. After second coat it was perfect. I am not a professional painter but took the time to ensure everything was clean before staring. (No dust or dirt). In between the first and second coat I gave the walls a very light sanding to remove any blemishes or small runs. Very satisfied.

Très bien comme peinture
J'ai utilisé cette peinture pour mon sous-sol et c'est très bien. Pour ma part, j'ai toujours mis deux couches pour bien couvrir. De plus, elle vient en spécial à $20.00 à l'occasion, quoi demander de plus.

Horrible Paint. Thin as water. Covers NOTHING.
This paint might as well be sold as water. 4 coats in and I am going to have to go for another. Rona is not allowing returns right now and I have to get this room painted QUICKLY.
Cutting in is an absolute nightmare with this. As I said.....Water

Easy to apply, Easy to clean!
We’ve been slowly working at painting our main living room in this paint, tinted in “Sherwin Williams Pure White”. The paint went on beautifully, but I really want to speak to durability. We have 2 large dogs, and live in the country on a pond - they think their life purpose is to swamp dive. This paint has been cleaned, scratched at, and has had a hard life in the 6 months it’s been up. It’s held up INCREDIBLY. Absurdly easy to clean mud and swamp water off of (but maybe send help for my sanity anyway?). Our pup was sick at some point overnight, resulting in me scrubbing the walls with bleach. Again, looks brand new. I’ve also used it in my toddler’s bathroom, and just bought 3 more cans to paint our basement with. I recommend it to everyone. 10/10.
