Description

This SICO ceiling paint is specially formulated with a pink indicator that turns white when dry. This effect makes it easy to see the sections already painted in order to facilitate the application. The pink colour disappears after 30 to 60 minutes depending on temperature and humidity. With excellent hiding power, this ceiling mat is perfect for concealing minor imperfections. Recommendation: apply on ceilings only, already painted or suitably primed. Sold in a 3.78 L container.

I am waiting to see if I actually need a 3rd coat over double primed ceiling! PINK is barely noticeable, even on a clear day. When cutting, I had to work quickly as I found it the start to dry and settle, making my second stroke start to cake up a bit. I noticed after the first coat I missed quite a few spots. I'm young and tall have lots of experience painting... no reason I should have so many missed spots... well again, the pink is barely there, soooo. Will be using a different brand for rest of the house. PS. I stirred well and used right from store shake.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Tplus40 from Excellent ceiling paint! Not sure why some people find this paint hard to work with but it is an exceptionally good ceiling paint. The pink pigment doesn't disappear fast so you have time to work with it and the paint doesn't get tacky like some paint leaving you with all sorts of streaks and blotches. I have tried all kinds of ceiling paint brands over the years and this one is the best I have used thus far. The only thing I can tell those folks having trouble is: 1) Prep your work 2) Use the best roller and cut-in brush (lint free actually doesn't mean it is if the quality isn't there) 3) Don't paint in overly dry or humid conditions. I paint in the spring or fall. 4) Last but not least and most important..take your time.

Don’t get me wrong, I LOVE Sico paints like doors and trim, muse, evolution, even pure which is very inexpensive.....HOWEVER this ceiling paint should not be on the market. Paint consistency is completely water, extremely hard to roll (I never experienced a more difficult time in rolling a ceiling paint) You can’t see the pink anyways (which is why I chose it to begin with). I had read the warnings but chose to believe the good reviews......I sooooo regret it, NEVER AGAIN !!!! Go with evolution (I used it and does great job) if you can’t afford Benjamin Moore which is by far the most outstanding ceiling paint, but very pricy !

Rated 5 out of 5 by Lynn66 from Ceiling Paint for Dummies EXCELLANT coverage beautiful finish, refreshes tired old ceiling surfaces. I have the old 70's textured ceilings in my condo. The previous owner obviously either didn't use ventilation fans which left accumulated cooking oils on the ceiling, or also could have been smokers. A horrid looking ceiling that was completely re invented with the Sico paint. Fresh, bright, and no one would ever know what horrors lay beneath. Easy to work with, thanks to the tint in the paint, which makes it very easy, even for those of us whom are paint challenged. Two coats will make your tired old yellowed ceilings look new again!

The product is a good price for the quality and value you can in a can. I found that it made it much easier to paint the ceiling with the roll on pink effect. I repainted our hallways and living/dining room ceilings and I found it was much easier then the other brands I’ve used to paint other ceiling in my home in the past. I would most definitely recommend this ceiling paint to anyone painting their ceilings. I also loved how nice and white my ceiling turned out with no lines or streaks. Great product!

Tried to paint a primed drywall ceiling, I could barely see the pink tint so had no idea where I was painting and the coverage was terrible. Did not roll on or spread nicely. Bought based on the reviews but would not recommend.
