For its price range, you will not find another fan that is either this well made or works as well. It's a great buy - performance is outstanding. If you buy it, you won't be disappointed.

Rated 4 out of 5 by K-Mac from They got the name right, "Air Mover" Working in summer's heat and humidity is made a whole lot easier if you can get yourself in the discharge stream of this blower. It moves a lot of air and can ventilate areas quite effectively. The wheels and collapsible handle are helpful for relocating the blower as is the lengthy power cord. Fortunately, the 3 speed control lets the user dial the air flow back down from motorcycle wind in your face level. But if you want the motorcycle experience, it's available with this blower. The collapsible handle appears a little fragile and could be damaged if abused. Being able to tilt the discharge up from parallel to the floor with a built in wedge would be another nice feature, but its nose can be propped up easily enough with a spare piece of lumber to get the air flow up off the floor.

It was fine one day and then the next it would run for 30 mins and then just stop. I would have to unplug and wait about 10 mins and plug back in and it would work again for 30-40 mins and shut off. Had the fan for 2-3 years before this started to occur. Now it only runs for 10 mins. I contacted Shop Vac and to my surprise, they made it right and are shipping me a new fan! Outstanding customer service on the part of Shop Vac. Just know that this unit only comes with a 1 year warranty and there is NO way to repair it if it starts to short out. That comes straight from Shop Vac Customer service. Other than that its a beast.

For the output produced the fan noise level is good. Only had to turn the TV up a small amount to compensate for the fan. The fan ran for over 24 hours without heating up or showing any other issues.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Got this shop vacuum for the purpose of airing out the renovations currently going on in my home. We re-did the flooring and put new tiles and grouting down, painted the entry way (up to 18+ ceilings!), and moved in all valuables I recently received from my mother, now passed. The shop-vac did not have any issue handling all this and now I use it most days!

Our home took a significant amount of water damage, soaking the floors upstairs and down. We removed most of the carpet, and combined with a few dehumidifiers, this fan helped to dry everything out fairly quickly. Didn't have a bit of mold in the house.
