This is not your dad's Shop Vac, it's worse
The instructions on putting it together are useless. Just throw them out, drink a beer, and figure it out. That's what you're going to end up doing anyway. Putting the handles on should be a 5 min job, but takes almost 20 because they used flat head screws (who still uses flat head screws?!) Screwdriver kept slipping off of the screw head after about 1/2 turn. Take a break, drink another beer. Then try again. And the most laughable of all, the included attachment holder doesn't actually fit ANY of the attachments that came with the vacuum. I haven't even used it yet, and I regret buying this cheaply made item. What happened to the Shop Vacs of yesteryear?

Terrible Quality
This product made me write a review for the first time in my life because it's an absolute garbage.
1. Specs say it has 6 HP. Comparing it to other 6HP vacuums, this one definitely has much less power. It can barely pick up small debris from carpet. I've replaced the original vacuum with the same model just to make sure it's not a glitch, and the replacement had the same issues.
2. Vacuum hose diameter needs to be larger for shop use. I had it connected to a miter saw, and it was constantly getting plugged with saw dust. It's also possible that hose diameter would work fine if a motor was creating enough suction.
3. Finally, the motor got recently burned during vacuuming some light dust.

Sometimes you need to believe the bad reviews
I just bought this vac yesterday, you can see how clean the vac is in the pics. I have seriously used it for 5 min, first few min sounds, suction seems more than adequate... Then a I hear the motor struggling a bit, I've sucked up a cup of saw dust and that's being generous. Motor smells like burning, motor housing is warm/hot to touch and then comes the smoke. Smoke in the shop is a no go, call me crazy but I think a lot of people feel that way. Save yourself the time, money, gas and headache if you're looking into this item. Stay away, I will be looking to have this issue rectified very soon.

Top heavy and the canister clips don't hold
Not uncommon for these portable vacuums to be top-heavy but this one is especially so - which is magnified by how narrow the base is. Too easy to tip it over if you're pulling the hose. The most disappointing thing, however, is the poorly designed clips that hold the motor to the canister. don't even think about lifting the vacuum from the top handle or you'll end up with whatever you just cleaned up dumped out all over your floor. I bought mine cheaper than this a while ago and have regretted it ever since - double the disappointment because I also bought one for my dad..

This is a 12 gallon garbage can
I bought this shop-vac during the thanks giving deal. I was thinking this vac will reduce work. However it failed in all aspects. Poor sucking power bag damaged and made the filter dirty. Trying to use as a wet vacuum. What a nice design!! It sucks water but blowing back on blower and leaking all sides. The great blower blows debris away only when I keep the nassle very close like few inches away. Bad part I trust this vac and didnt use it as soon as I bought and I used close to end of it return time frame. So i could not return. Good thing I didn't buy this for full price. Can be used as trash can with wheels. Stay away... never buy this vac

Sucks in a way it is not supposed to
Hose too small - Can't hook into most dust collection systems, and when you jury rig a solution the hose will get clogged quickly.
Motor is weak - Does not take much for the suction to drop.
Dust -Trying any preventative measures (filter / sleeve / diffuser) just lead to a massive drop-off in suction. When you remove those measure this blows a dust cloud out the back every time you start it up. Floor is clean but now there is a film of dust on every tool I own. The bags I have purchased (this may be on me) don't fit well, eventually get loosened up, and then I'm back to the dust out the back scenario.

Meh...
Like other reviews have said, the hose is small so don't expect too much.
The real beef I have with this vacuum is the latch design was seemingly created by someone whose only engineering experience was a macaroni art project in kindergarten.
This thing pops open with the slightest on board weight.
When the container drops free and it will, the wheels break off and the bag dislodges inside.
Pretty soon the thing is gimping along on one wheel and cussing ensues when you realize the mess inside.
kinda surprised they still sell this design really...

shop vac?
Avoid this! Plain and simple.
It’s specifically made for cost cutting and not for its intended use of an actual shop vac.
Vacuum hose is 1”.5 which means its allways getting clogged.
The motor is underpowered.
Between the thin hose and under-power motor, its always getting clogged.
I tried to pick up dead pine needles no bigger than 1/2 inch from Xmas tree and it got clogged.
Pine needles folks! And it got clogged?!!!
Def not worth the money and frustration.
