High shear contractor's sheathing tape for sealing and seaming polyethylene vapor barrier. High shear adhesive that provides aggressive contact for a strong and durable holding power that prevents air infiltration. CCMC evaluated, report # 14018-R. Excellent resistance to UV, mold, water and moisture.

Nice tape for the job.
Used this tape to hold Bazz pot light vapor barrier covers in place. Worked great. When you put it in place it stays in place on the vapor barrier and the pot light covers. The great sticky blue stuff.

The standard
I just used it to seal my silverboard and is thicker, far more adherent than the red. This stuff is now the standard for sealing sheathing or vapour barrier. Spend the dollar, worth it!
