Hi, Is the SANIFLO SANI3 0.5-HP Plastic Transfer Pump the complete unit. Seat and tank. if not what would the 3 peace cost. Thanks
The Sani3 is only the macerating pump. You would also require a bowl (Round - 083 or Elongated - 087) and tank (005). All of these items can be found on the website. In addition to the above you may require the extension pipe (030) if you wish to install the pump behind your wall.

Can someone tell me the difference between the SanifloPlus and this Saniflo3? They both say they support 3 piece bath so cannot figure what is the difference besides cost.
The main difference is the size of the macerator pump. The Sani3 is more compact and therefore has a smaller tank capacity. A smaller tank capacity means that it will cycle more frequently and would require some additional plumbing work if you are planning to replace the Saniplus with the Sani3. The motor specs are the same.

Can this tank be used with a standard toilet mounted above the tank?
No this cannot be used with a standard toilet. If you are looking for a standard toilet application then we recommend using the Sanigrind Pro.

I have an older unit that needs to be replaced. It has 2 inlets (1 each side) 1 for shower and 1 for sink along with toilet connection. Are the old and new units outlets located the same? In other words can I replace one with the other?
You can call saniflo In guelf Ontario directly to ask them. But my opinion is as long as the model numbers match, you shouldn’t have a problem. This is model “sani 3”. Read the side of your unit to find the model number.

Sani3 Experience
I had purchased a house on septic and the basement washroom has the Sani3 Toilet system installed as well as a shower and sink that feed into the plastic transfer compartment. Overall experience is that it works. Sometimes it takes more than one flush to clear the bowl and seems a bit heavy on water used per flush. Make sure your venting is done right because we get some bad smells as if the system is back venting. Could just be our system as we did not install it.

Merry Christmas, Son!
I purchased this pump for my son who installed it himself. He struggled a bit with the installation - he's not a mechanic or plumber, but is well pleased with the pump.

Replaced my 28 year old Saniplus unit with this
In 1994 I installed a Saniplus unit to a American Standard backflush toilet and a sink and shower. After 28 years the pump failed. It wasn't unexpected after so many years of working fine. The Saniflo Sani 3 unit is made by the same original company. I purchased this unit to replace it. It is a 1/2" wider (8.5') and 4" shorter in length (16") and now has 2" DWV connections to adapt to code. The older unit had a vent built in and I had to install a flexible plastic vent pipe and fish through a wall for proper venting of this new unit as the old cheater are not permitted as a warning sheet packed with the produce described. I purchased a 1.5"-2" rubber connector as only one was included in the install kit. It was the only piece I needed to re-install this new one, plus a couple of longer pcs of 1.5"DWV which I hade around. (Only 1 2" to 2" flexible conector is included too which I did not require with the existing 1.5" DWV). This unit was $300 cheaper than the original unit and I hope it lasts at least half as long. The demensions of the new unit are: 16.5"L x 7"W x 9.25" for the main body of the unit with the 1/2" toilet flange at 8" center from the bottom of the unit. It was a quick and easy re-install and I got lucky fishing the 9 foot flexiable vent pipe through a knee wall that hid the shower DWV from the other side of the bathroom.
