The magic eraser extra power by Mr. Clean is 50% stronger that the original and it lasts longer. Its water-activated micro-scrubbers reach into the surface grooves, lifting away built up dirt. Rated 1 out of 5 by CatsMeow from Not So Hot I've used Magic Eraser several years before, and didn't like it. However, when this was recommended to me, I figured it probably had been upgraded. Nope. The same problem as before...it shreds as you use it, and breaks into pieces. It does a good job of cleaning, but just doesn't last long enough to get the job done.

Rated 5 out of 5 by susie from This sponge is unbelievable I have been using Mr. Clean Magic Eraser for over a year now. A friend of mine, who cleans houses, told me about it. She said it's fantastic. If you first spray your sink with Lysol with Bleach or rub on Barkeepers Friend, then use the Magic Eraser, it cleans all the grunk off with no trouble. It will also help remove corrosion on brass.

Rated 5 out of 5 by BigB from It really is MAGIC While technology hucksters like Steve Jobs have overplayed the word "magic" thus utterly destroying it's meaning the good people at Proctor and Gamble have totally brought it back. If this wasn't called the "Magic eraser" it should be called the "wow, that's amazing eraser". We just moved out of our house of 10 years and had to do major cleaning to prep it for sale. The Magic Eraser easily cleaned shoe marks off the wall in the closet, black marks from shoes and pen marks from the white painted interior doors, and it did a number on various stains in the kitchen. We didn't run into a single stain from a solid or painted surface that stopped the magic eraser. The "Extra power" version is a better value as it lasts longer than regular power more than justifying the higher price.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Jeff from Falls apart when use on textured surfaces Purchased these to use on car seats and headliner to remove stains. Even with the slightest pressure, the pad falls apart, and leaves "debris" on area that is being cleaned. VERY DISAPPOINTED!!

I had a big cleaning project and I purchased these because there were four in the package and were larger in size. These erasers were perfect for cleaning the front wrought iron handrails.
