Bought 90 bags of black mulch, 90% of them were full of wet moldy product,it did wash away in the rain but the color is not very black!

Excellent Product
I have been using this product and tried some others to topdress four large landscaped 'islands' in my yard for some 10 years. Scott's is the easiest to spread, looks terrific and decomposes into an excellent plant compost over the course of the year. Yes there are cheaper ones, but this is one of those times where the extra is worth the money.

colour faded after 1 rain fall
I put it in my garden and after one day of rain it faded and lost colour I had to throw it all away and used another brand over the top

Garbage. Don’t bother.
This product is garbage. I purchased 15 bags of the Classic Black from Rona a few weeks back. They actually claim right on the front of the bag that the “colour will not fade to grey all season”. I put this down two weeks ago and it already is faded to grey. Looks bit different then it did before I put it down. The company should not be allowed to false advertise like this. It just proves again that companies can say whatever they want without worrying about any consequences.

Wouldn’t buy again!
I bought it for the name brand, awful, mouldy, not very nicely chopped up and faded too fast. Won’t buy again.

Not meeting what it claims to be
I just bought 6 bags. I paid more for this brand name product which claims 100% forest mulch and not recycled material. However each bag had construction waste and lathe wood dyed black. I have pictures to add but the application isn't working.
