Description
Kerdi-Board is a multifunctional tile substrate and building panel that can be used for creating bonded waterproofing assemblies with tile coverings. Kerdi-Board is made from an extruded polystyrene foam panel, with a special reinforcement material on both sides and fleece webbing for effective anchoring in thin-set mortar. It can be used in the creation of a broad range of building elements, such as showers and bathtub surrounds.

I am working in a narrow space,can i use panels 32x48 to build my shower walls ? If i use screws system do i need to glue the panels?
Hi Claude,
No need to glue the panels, use our screws & washers to fasten the boards on the 2x4’s (16OC) at every 12” vertically

Can this be used as drywall for kitchen, to put backsplash
Hi Iraa,
You can use it to install backsplash and seeing that it’s already waterproof it will add that extra protection.
However keep in mind that you cannot plaster or paint on this product like a drywall.

We have a shower where floor drain is off centre. What kerdi product can we use for the floor where we can cut our own drain hole?

Can I glue a DPI tile pannel on it, if ok what glue (Lepage 2 in 1 ?)
