There is no (backup) key, correct? I intend to use this product at my remote cottage. It will literally go unused for 7-8 months-straight (Oct-May), each year (including winters that can go below -30°C). What If the batter(y)(ies) run out in winter?
There are two small terminals below the handle that you can press a 9 volt battery onto if your internal battery happens go dead.

Nous avons acheté deux poignées comme
Celles-ci pour notre maison neuve que nous avons commencé à construire en octobre-novembre. Dès l’installation en décembre, le froid a pris dedans et les feux poignées ne fonctionnaient plus après à peine deux semaines avec des batteries
Neuves. Nous avons changé les batteries et une des deux ne fonctionnaient pas plus. Nous avons retourné celle qui ne fonctionnait pas et en avons reçu une nouvelle, qui après seulement 1 Semaine, ne fonctionnait plus du tout malgré des batteries neuves.

Nice looking lock
Bought this and the deadbolt version a while back. It has been reliable, good looking, and easy to use.
It doesn't have a key hole, which is fine. In my 15 years of living in houses with similar style locks, I have never once needed to use the back up key.
For assurance though, you can use the emergency 9V battery backup terminals on the front if it happens to die locked.

Setting up program code was difficult. Also, this lock does not have a key option, just in case battery dies or did not get the code right. As a result left an uneasy feeling if we install this lock for our home. Will return it and get a different one.

Locked out
This worked great for all of two months but I just went outside to feed the birds, made sure to unlock the lever from the inside and I couldn’t get back in! The handle isn’t working. It’s -31 outside and a good thing my husband was home today or else I’d be breaking a window to get back inside. Terrible terrible design. Of course we didn’t keep the receipt. Ugh.
