The key is stuck, how can I take it out?
Have you inserted the key, turned the key 90 degrees to the direction of the hinges (left or right) and then turned the knob 90 degrees in same direction?

We don't have the key for the dead bolt and the battery is dead. Can you change the battery from the outside? we have no way of getting in

Do you have to enter your code when leaving the house to lock the door back up? or just turn the deadbolt and it automatically locks?
No code required; you push the schlage button and it will engage the mechanism which will allow you to turn the deadbolt. Otherwise it will just spin freely.
