Works but blades are garbage
The Dremel wood cutting blade is garbage on everything except basal wood. The picture showing them cutting off a 2x4 probably wore the blade out. I used the tool to cut about 20 LF of 3/8" engineered wood floor and the blade was toast after about 10lf. I had to break out my circular saw to finish. The issue is that the blades do not have teeth. If they had teeth they would last alot longer. The blade they currently have is equivalent to a butter knife trying to cut a steak. It just doesn't work.

Aways wanted one
The Sawmax is the bomb. It is comfortable to hold and with a little practice is and will be an awesome addition to the tool shed. You do have to get used to the initial torque of the Sawmax when you first trigger it up so be sure to bring it up to speed before introducing it to your work.
The trigger safety is new to me but after a few times I got used to it.
This is a great tool and will do its job for me around the renovation of this old house.

Blades are too expensive.
The blades don't last very long but the cut is excellent! Just like tires, the better the grip, the sooner they wear out. So in short, the saw is fantastic with a great cut and very easy to use but the blades are too expensive.

Did almost what I wanted
Wanted to cut close to the edge of my wood floors but could only get 2 1/2 inches from the wall with the cutters bottom attachment that doesn't come off but it did cut make a nice cut . Would make it easier if the bottom plate would detach for that hard to reach area.

Avoid. Disappointed in performance.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This saw is EXTREMELY limited in performance and I'm sorry I bought it. Accessories are limited and none come in the box; everything is EXTRA. The wood blade doesn't have teeth, but instead knurled barbs and if you go to fast, you will get burn marks. Through regular wood, I was moving at 1mm every few seconds and it was almost too fast. If your project are lightweight, and are no thicker than 3/4", you should; should be fine, but anything long duration or medium duty+, seek out the ultra saw or a tried and true circular saw. They show this cutting different stuff, but there are better options. I'd take mine back, but I can't find the receipt and got rid of the box. I DO NOT RECOMMEND.

I had to return it since the screw would not turn.
This product had to be return which was brand new and the Screw holding the saw could not be removed with the supplied tool. It appears it was stripped and the package was never opened when I bought it. I was able to use the saw for sheet rock but it doesn't hold up well for wood or metal.

Handy little cutter
Bought it to avoid using a full sized circular saw to do plunge cuts to remove damaged sections from a wooden security cabinet. Was able to make clean cuts and install replacement sections of 3/4 thick wood. Easy handling, easy blade replacement, easy depth adjustment. Just plain easy.
