Description

How big is this box? Will it fit in a car with the seat put down? Or would I require a truck?

The box is not that big at all,  50” x 19” x 8”.  It is packed quite efficiently.  But it is heavy, maybe around 80 to 100 lbs.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Brett69 from Great quality priece at an unbeatable price Just picked this up yesterday and put it together without issue. Yes, assembly is involved with lots of parts and steps but if you follow them carefully you’ll be OK. Aligning the doors and drawers is a bit tricky but for sure they fit - they may rub or not close at first but there are screws to adjust them similar to any cabinet doors or drawers. The X dividers for wine are optional if you don’t want them, plus there are a couple of optional adjustable shelves too. Only thing I noticed is that it does seem to be a dust magnet and can scratch pretty easily so get the Endust ready and use a clean cloth, :)

I assembled it by myself with my toddler underfoot in roughly 2.5 hours. My only complaint is how easy the finish scratches. I ended up getting a big scratch just putting the “X” shelves in which is incredibly sad as I’d planned to remove them as we’re not wine drinkers. Other than that, I am happy with it.

Whoever pre-drilled the drawer slide holes was off by about .5" inch and the drawers don't fully close. This thing comes in all kind of pieces, so to spend hours putting it together only to discover the drawers don't fit properly is awful. Now have to either try to reposition drawers ourselves without ruining the unit or return it somehow. Pain in the butt. Has just a cheap cardboard backing as well and not the sturdiest thing. Scratches VERY easily. Next time, I'm spending the extra money on a quality, hard wood piece (this is that cheap, pressed board stuff).

Assembly will take a little longer with this item but all the pieces are marked, the front two legs should have been stamped left and right as it is possible to assemble them on the wrong side initially.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Hotcars101 from Beautiful This unit exceeded my expectations. First of all, it’s half the price of everywhere else that sells this sideboard. Second, it’s a heavy piece that went together easily. A VERY solid and heavy sideboard!! An extremely sturdy unit. It took about 3.5 hours for 2 people to assemble. We had no issue during assembly though, even with some wine in hand, and instructions were straight forward/clear. The veneer seems good out of the box, no scratches chips or marks, and time will tell how it holds up. The units cabinet space is very deep!! It holds a crock pot and coffee maker in one drawer easily! This unit says right on the box that it is made in the USA so it is not from China. Perhaps that is why it assembled with no issues, and no chemical smell coming from it. I’ve been looking for a sideboard for a long time and this far exceeded my expectations for value and quality! I would give this 6 stars if I could. Thank you Lowes!
