can this pump be used for a water softner's salt tank over flow drain line , not the pressure flush line?
I use it for a condensate pump for my propane furnace. I don't see why it couldn't be used for a different application as long as it's not constant. It is very powerful for it's size and it pumps to my laundry sink at least 15-20 away. It also has wires to activate an alarm if the pump fails, although I don't use that feature...

Can the pump on/pump off positions be adjusted? The information on the Sanicondens Condensate Pump says that it has a two quart (64 ounce, 1.89 litre) capacity, but my new pump only discharges about 9 ounces (266 ml) per cycle.
MIne is the same and is normal "A normal operating cycle for the Sanicondens can be as short as 2 - 10 seconds depending upon the discharge pipe run configuration; power consumption is therefore minimal." (from the Saniflo website) Don't know if you could adjust the float to obtain a longer cycle?

Is this unit suitable to pump condensate from a 70 pint dehumidifier that is running continuously?

Works well
I have been using it as a pump for dehumidifier condensate and it handles the volume produced without fault. No complaints and would recommend this unit to others.

Best condensate pump I ever had.
Best pump so far. I used to have a little giant pump which didn't last long. This one seems to be a quiet one and works flawless.
