Description
This beautiful chimney-style hood range offers a powerful 600 CFM suction capacity to get rid of steam, fumes and odors extremely quickly and quietly. Bluetooth technology allows you to sync the fan and lights with the burners so you can turn them on or off at the same time. A smartphone app also lets you adjust the speed and timer settings, and turn the light on or off. A durable and easy to maintain baffle filter captures oil and dust before it clogs the motor or hinders the airflow, and only needs cleaning every 3 to 4 weeks. This Samsung hood range has a sleek and contemporary design with easy-to-use integrated touch controls.

Don't buy this. My God the disappointment is real.
600 cfm? Does not even come close. There's no way! I boiled water and put this thing on boost and it still doesn't get it all.
It doesn't connect to my samsung gas range either.
I wasted my money.

Samsung Vent Hood
we remolded our home and bought all new samsung appliances. worse mistake. we really liked the color of them and thought we were getting good quality appliances. low and behold the vent hood craped out a year after warranty. i’m so angry because now our dishwasher has problems. i feel like for the price we paid these would last longer than 1-3 years. we’ll never purchase again.

Wifi is a lie
this product does not have wifi connectivity.
it only has bluetooth.
you need to pair with the cooktop to be able to connect it to the smartthings app.
i bought a range that only has wifi so they won't work together even though this website suggested it would.

Powerful and beautiful
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this hood to go with my other Samsung appliances and it is a showstopper. It is elegant and very powerful. Prior to my kitchen Reno I had an outdated recirculating hood which literally did nothing but blow the food smells, smoke and grease around. This one has 4 different vent powers and vents to the outside. The lighting is great for cooking too. The only issue is I cannot find the hood on the Samsung app to connect to Wi-Fi.
