This Samsung top load washer is designed to reduce noise and tangling while delivering powerful cleaning. The special wing shape and size of the ActiveWave Agitator reduces the tangling of clothes around the pillar. It also spins smoothly to minimize noise for quiet operation. Wash more in fewer loads / save time and effort. A large capacity of 4.6 cubic feet means you can fit more clothes into a single load, including big items like a king-sized comforter. So you can spend more time doing the things you love. Keep your washer fresh and clean with Self Clean technology. It removes dirt and odor-causing bacteria from the drum. It uses a combination of soaking, It will notify you every twenty wash cycles when it is time for a cleaning. The premium Soft-Close Lid closes safely, gently and quietly. A damper automatically reudces the speed of movement so the lid closes slowly and quietly.

Does What It Is Supposed To!
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) We bought this Washer when our old one died. At first we were not happy with it, as it seemed like our clothes were not getting clean. We put less clothes in per load and it seems fine. It just takes longer to get through a whole load of laundry. Everything we wash has to be on a deep wash setting unless it's just a few items.

Very quiet
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Bought this Samsung washer to replace our old washer, its so QUIET! Had to checked if it was on the first few times when we first got it. Love that I could do a large load. Could fit a comforter and the sheets in together. One thing I didn’t like is sometimes there detergent residues on black clothing.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Very little water is filled in the washer. I usually manually add extra water to cover all items in washer. If I don't add extra water some items don't get wet. Doesn't seem to get washed fully. For the drum to fill up with more water use deep clean setting.
