On Samsung front load washer model WF45T6000AW/A5 is there an option for the door to swing from my left-to-right instead of right-to-left?
On the washer, no. The dryer yes. We stacked them in a corner and the washer door opens on the wrong side for us, but we have to just deal with it.

Can the older pedestal (WE357A7G) I have from previous washer fit this newer model washer WF45T6000AW/A5 ? I know the color will be off, but curious about compatibility.

I just bought the Samsung High-Efficiency Stackable Front-Load Washer, there is a banging noise when it spins. I double check the installation manual that I did everything correctly (i.e. removed the 4 bolts). I don't know if this noise is normal?

Unresolved issues
from day one, the washer was loud while in spin cycle. after working with both home depot and samsung for months, it was determined by samsung certified technicians, that the noises were due to using the washer pedestal which samsung made. we were told there was nothing they could do and to eliminate the noise we should not use the pedestal. we cant even put anything on the top of the washer because it just vibrates off. we are also unhappy with samsung and their service. several times my wife would create a ticket with a service tech only to have it lost and we would start over again. service was unacceptable.

Great misunderstanding.
I bought the same front load washer (Samsung) that I had before thinking I could use the pedestal raiser with one drawer from the old one which was in very good condition. When the delivery/installers arrived they said they could not install a new washer over an old pedestal so now I have a front loading washer much lower than I can comfortably use as I am 73 years old, a widower and live alone, and it is not easy for me to bend over. I am very disappointed that I didn't realize this at time of purchase and now I am stuck with this problem. I paid the extra fee to remove the old washer and they agreed to take the old pedestal since I could not use it.

Great product!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We received this Samsung washer in timely manner. The delivery and installation was quick and professional. The washer has a large load capacity, what is the most important for a family of five.
I’m an active person who likes to exercise and run every day, so my clothes are very soiled after. I threw them in the washer and after a short period of time they come out fresh and like new so it has an “Activewear” setting for that type of wash which makes it easy. It also has an LED display so it makes it easy to see in the darkest of rooms. Another plus it’s energy star rated so it’s Economical. I highly recommend this product.

outer tub sheared off
After 18 months of use we heard what sounded like a cannon go off.
I went to check and the window was bulging in and out. I turned the machine off and opened the door to find the front of the outer tub that holds the water had sheared off.
Naturally the warranty is out
Thank God no one was standing there if it was to explode!
Samsung should stick to phones!!
After reading all the negative reviews I would suggest never buying a Samsung appliance again.
Good luck being able to get anyone you can understand on their help line. Now I have to pay to haul this piece of junk off.

Read the manual
I have not done my first load yet. The installation guide states to level the machine and run a test load on rinse and spin. If it shakes or makes excessive noise, re-level and try again. Between last night and off-and-on today between work. I tried this a dozen or so times. The machine shook like crazy. I was ready to bring it back and went to the users manual to go through trouble-shooting. The install section of this guide clearly tells you to run the calibration cycle. One time doing that, which took 2 minutes, and the machine is purring like a kitten.

When we first got this product, it shook so violently during the spin cycle that it actually unplugged itself from the wall! After contacting Samsung, we realized that the shipping bolts needed to be removed that keep the drum steady during shipping! After remedying the problem this work wonderfully. It has great setting features and my clothes get clean. It holds A LOT of laundry for my family of 5.
I have it 4 stars because it always drains water BEFORE running the next load. (Like it didn’t finish on the last one.). I worry that over time the sitting water may smell or ruin the interior parts.

washer hasn't ever worked right. vibrates extremely loudly. checked level front/back and side/side. was level. made a warranty claim, first tech came out found the right counterweight literally exploded inside the machine and sheared a bolt. ordered a bunch of parts. two weeks later, second tech comes out, starts swapping parts out. finds more damage. calls Samsung, they decide to replace it under warranty. Samsung now refuses to replace it because I purchased the machine a year ago and can't find the receipt.

Great washer but....
We bought this and the matching dryer as a stackable unit, and they DO stack nicely. But be aware of the following: The door opening is a good four inches lower than my previous washer. Because the washer drains to the rear, the clothes end up at the back of the tub. I have to get on my knees to retrieve them. Also, the dryer has the controls at the top so unless you are fairly tall (I'm 5'7"), you will not be able to reach them if your washer and dryer are stacked. I could reach them but not comfortably. We ended up separating the units and putting them on pedestals instead.
