This Samsung front control, 4-burner cooktop has two simmer burners perfect for preparing delicate sauces that require lower heat. The two larger burners are ideal for larger pans and woks. Cook with intense heat or with a gentle simmer. All the power of a classic gas cooktop in a slim 24-in design. Cook at full capacity, as this cooktop is spacious enough to accommodate large pots of pasta or a wok for stir-frying. Front controls mean easy, safe access so you can cook without worry. Sleekly designed, continuous, edge-to-edge cast-iron grates cover the whole cooktop surface and let you move even your heaviest cookware across the cooktop with ease. Easily accommodate a round-bottomed wok on the custom wok ring, included with this cooktop. It also provides other large pans with extra stability, ensuring even distribution while you cook. Rated 3 out of 5 by OldCook from Like it? Yes & No I wanted a smaller cooktop with the maxi burner in the back. The grates are heavy but need more rubber on the bottom, they easily slide and scratch the surface. The small burners can't go low enough to maintain a low simmer. Every liquid sticks to the bottom and requires almost constant stirring. The small burners easily tip over when trying to clean around them, so you have to hold them down with one hand. The area between the back of the grates and the knobs is narrow and difficult to keep clean. I'm not going to remove the knobs each time I need to clean there. It is a very handsome cooktop with nice grate configuation and the large back burners boil quickly. I wish there was some way to buff out the scratches. You also need pledge stainless steel cleaner to get the cooktop surface streak free. I couldn't go to a store to see it in person. My quartz counter was cut to acomodate it, so I have to live with it.
