worked great after reading label
I was in agreement with one of the other reviews that said it ended up glossy when it should have been satin. Well mine did end up glossy HOWEVER after read the instructions to stir for 2 minutes prior to use I lightly wet sanded it with 400 grit wet sand paper. Then after stirring it for 2 minutes I applied it and it looks GREAT.

I saw the bad reviews this stuff was getting and had to redeem it. I painted 8 chairs with it, 2 coats each and if you see from the photo, these chairs are not an easy project. I painted the chairs using a nylon/poly brush and had no clouding on top of the black paint and the sheen is pretty flat/matte. If you slather the paint on this you can get cloudiness and drips, but you need to layer it on thinly, this is the case for all sealers!!! Love my refinished oak chairs, they've held up nicely, no chips yet!!

POOR RESULTS
Just purchased this product to put a MATTE finish on a painted wood surface. Its super shiney no way is it MATTE. Now I have to sand it back and redo with a better product. Its streaks and bubbles is not good to work with at all. I'm using a very good quality lint free brush and also tried a good quality foam roller...both of which were recommended in the application of product section, Results were totally inadequate. In fact Im taking the product back to RONA...its useless let them dispose of it.
