The Saman water-based clear finish is completely safe for the user and environment. The product has a milky appearance in the container, but once dry, it leaves a tough, transparent finish that does not yellow.

Looks great but scratches way too easily
Applied the product as per instructions on new hardwood floor. Waiting longer than the recommended window to move furniture back. After two weeks it looks like it is 5 years old. Horrendous durability. Very disappointed.

Fausse consigne: Stable au gel
J'ai acheté ce produit et entreposé dans le cabanon car il est écrit sur les consignes: "Entreposage: STABLE AU GEL"
Ce printemps, j'ouvre le chaudron et surprise tout le produit est devenu comme du chewing gum.
Je contacte le fabricant et ils disent:
"Notre produit est effectivement stable au gel lors du transport ou pour une courte période, plein, et fermé adéquatement mais pas s’il est transformé en bloc de glace par des températures hivernales plusieurs mois, évidemment.
Comme tout contenant de peinture/teinture/vernis, il doit être rangé au sec et au chaud pendant nos hivers.,"
À quoi ça sert de mettre le mot entreposage: stable au gel si ce n'est pas vrai...

I do not recommend
Bad product. It is not resistant to water stains. Some water was dropped on my table and now there is a white stain on it. I applied 4 coats of this varnish! I am not sure of the semi-glossy and glossy are any better but the matte varnish I certainly do not recommend.
